Nottingham Forest have today agreed an undisclosed fee with League One rivals Walsall for Julian Bennett.
The Nottingham-born defender is due at The City Ground tomorrow to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical. Bennett, 21, has made more than 50 appearances for The Saddlers since breaking into the side at The Bescot Stadium last season.
He got his big break at first team level as a central defender but has more recently staked a regular spot in Paul Merson's plans at left back.
Bennett, who was born and brought up just a short distance from The City Ground, was a member of the Walsall line-up that claimed a 1-1 draw at Forest last month.
